The author starts from the experience of panic, which contains in itself the tragic game, mythical-radical (and not “mythical philological” or “mythical recovery“). He reaffirms the three universal states of ontological consciousness and he corresponds them to the three states of anthropological consciousness: awakening, dreaming and deep sleep. Within these (as in the Alto) he discovers a reason and an unreason not necessarily ethical, a Socratic daemon but always disturbing. The sculpture /horse (real work, not only artistic or literary) thus becomes the path that leads from Truia to concrete SPQR (Senatus populusque romanus meaning “The Senate and the Roman people”), in the mythical and eternal fire which repeats itself without end in destruction, hope, rebirth.
