Rossini’s Cinderella: Between Music and Cultural Text

Rossini’s Cinderella between music and literary text, wants to stage the value of the musical partition written by the composer from Pesaro in relation to Jacopo Ferretti’s booklet and the various socio-psycho-cultural themes that unfold in the work. But what is most striking is the unusual care of Rossini for a comic opera, in outlining the character of the protagonist.
